Returns & Refunds Policy

At Thistle & King, we take great care in selecting beautiful, quality products and want you to be delighted with your purchase.

14-Day Returns

If you change your mind about a purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, items must be unused, unworn, in their original condition, with all tags attached and original packaging intact. Proof of purchase is required.

Customers are responsible for the return courier costs for change-of-mind returns.

How to Request a Return

Please email hello@thistleandking.co.za within 14 days of receiving your order, quoting your order number and the reason for your return.

Once your return has been authorised, please send the item to:

We recommend using a trackable courier service. Please do not send items back without first contacting us.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.

Your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act remain unaffected by our 14-day change-of-mind policy. Where applicable, consumers have statutory rights regarding defective goods, including remedies available within six months of delivery.

Online Shopping Cooling-Off Rights

Where applicable, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act provides a seven-day cooling-off period for online purchases. This statutory right applies independently of our voluntary 14-day returns policy, subject to the exclusions provided by law.

Non-Returnable Items

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, we generally cannot accept personal care products, personalised or specially ordered items, gift cards or sale items.

These exclusions do not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Exchanges

If you would prefer a different size or product, please contact us to discuss availability. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method, normally within 10 business days, except where a different statutory refund period applies. Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time.
